My slingbox 500 stopped transmitting audio signals to both the tv and to the Internet
It seems like a software issue: I've tried-
Switching cables around to make sure they all work.
My satellite receiver is HDMI only output, no way to use composite cables.
Updated and also reset the slingbox. I can get a very brief moment of sound if I hold down the reset button just long enough, but not too long to restore to factory settings.
Tried returning the slingbox for a new unit from the point of purchase as recommended by customer support
After updating to factory, the slingbox automatically updates itself before I can use it, and am back to square one.
I'm out of options and live customer support chat has nothing helpful. Anyone have a hint for me? Thanks
