Ever since the update my internet connection light is very dim and my phone, and computer does not recognize my sling box. Tech says they no nothing about it. Here is thier reply to my concern.

The box will periodically update. I'm not sure what the update was but it wouldn't make the network light dim.
They suggest I contact tech supposrt and pay $29.95 for assistance. I feel ripped off.
