I have had power issue with my PRO-HD which I got less than 60-days ago. After giving detailed information to the support tech who answered the call to help diagnose the problem, I was told that I may have received a defective unit and they will be sending me a replacement box provided that I give him my shipping address as well as my credit card info (number, billing address and security code).
I find this really unusual that such details should be discussed over the phone. Is this the way Sling Media conducts their business? Will my infromation be protected if I relay it to the support tech? What assurance can I get that my financial information will not be misused and abused?
