    There was an error connecting to your Slingbox. Make sure that your Slingbox is ON and connected to your network. Also check that firewall and router allow access. Do you want to retry?


      I have a slingbox classic which has worked well for a good number of years now.


      When I am at home and logged on to my netwrok, the log-in works perfectly and the slingbox can be viewed from both desktop and laptop.


      I am now away from my home network with the same laptop and I get the message above.


      How do I fix this so that I can go back to viewing the sling remotely, please ?
