    Changed from HD Pro to Basic Sling, now doesn't connect


      Thanks for reading this!  I had a HD Pro slingbox and it worked great for a year and then something seemed to burn out in the power connection.  Unfortunately this was not under warranty so I purchased a new Sling and went throught the set up process again.  I made it through the final stages and could operate (and see) Direct TV via my laptop, on sling at home, but now I cannot connect outside my home network.  It seemed like I never finished the setup process eventhough I could view TV on the small setup screen.  Did I forget to do something?  Do I need to register the new box on slingbox.com?  Not sure what I'm missing.  any help is appreciated.
