I have the identical problem. I have a google tv by Sony. I access sling player thru "spotlight" and it finds my slingbox and reports the same error. I have followed the recommendation to go to my pc and "update" the firmware. I did this, and the message on my pc indicates that my firmware is updated. Yet, when I go back to the app on my google tv, I get the same error 22...
What is wrong?
