I have exactly the same problem. I am running a Technisat DIGI Corder ISIO C Cable Receiver which is connected via component cable and digital audio to my Slingbox Pro-HD.
Yesterday evening while I was watching TV from slingbox remotely via internet suddenly my picture disappeared but audio was still working.
I have tried a few settings and found out that:
- Watching with new web based player you will get a picture using the picture settings MINIMUM / GOOD / BETTER or BEST
- using AUTO or BEST/HD I don't have a picture anymore, only audio is working
- using the slingplayer desktop version only works setting a manual resultion from 640x480 or below. All resolutions above (HD) will cause a black picture
- switching the output resolution on my digital receiver from HD (1080i / 720p) to SD (576i) will make the web based as well as the desktop player work
I talked to the Sling customer care today and they will send me a new slingbox. However, I doubt that the slingbox is defective. My guess is that Slingmedia once again messed up releasing a new firmware (2.1.370).
Does anybody of you solve the problem by doing a complete new setup of the slingbox or something else?
