I also am still having the same issue. My iPad will not stay connected for more than a few minutes. Has anyone found the solution for this. I am using Roadrunner cable internet at both ends and have no connection troubles while streaming anything else! At home where the Slingbox is located I connect to the internet through an Apple Extreme and my Slinbox is connected to it using a brand new ethernet cable
I keep checking for an update to the iPad app but I don't think that's going to happen
i have the same issue. in fact this weekend i couldnt even access the sling site to get any info - it just wouldnt load their web site. I have had this device for 7 years and its problematic. Sometimes its great, most times it seems to be a company run by a few geeks who have no time to help anyone . Also, every update is worse than before. A few years ago i was streaming video from LA to London no problem - now - cant even stream it across town with it freezing and audio sounding weird.
In fact - it seems now like i have 2 audio streams at once going on with a weird echo. I know that its like that cause i watched the same program on HBO app and it was perfect. On the slingplayer it was phasing etc.
