The simple fix to this is to remove your HDMI cable and use component cables. Component cables are the original HD cables and also has excellent

I guess that when your TV or monitor is connected to HDMI or DVI output and switched on your slingbox works corectly. The problem starts when you switch off the TV (two minutes after switching it off).
