Thanks for using our Answers Forum. I understand that your having trouble getting your remote for your Slingbox. I do have a couple of questions for you. The first being are you using Slingbox.com and clicking on Watch, if you are, what browser are you using?
Are you trying to use the desktop player? We no longer support the desktop browser and do recommend that our customers use the browser and Slingbox.com/Watch.
I'm not sure exactly what you were doing when you lost the remote, did you move? Have you replaced any of your equipment, such as your router or your set top box?
Hope to hear from you soon.

I use the desktop player because it still works, however have tried slingbox.com in chrome and firefox.
I was at work with the player on. It is possible that I exited the application and restarted it and the remote didn't come up. But I'm fairly sure that I looked up after having the player running for several hours and the remote wasn't there.
I have read in another thread that my sling box pro may have an issue since I cannot find a device when I go through the "Configure Inputs." process.
From browser, "Configure Inputs", select then "remote Control Set-up", then "Choose from the list below:" and select Satellite, I get "No manufacturers available. See screen shot below.
Thanks for your reply. I would strongly recommend that you use Watch at Slingbox.com rather then the desktop player. If you still get the "no manufacturers available" message, this article, Setup on Slingbox.com displays "no manufacturers available" when you try to configure your device should provide answers on how to resolve this issue.
If this does not resolve your issue, Contact Sling Media explains how to get in contact with support no matter where you are in the world.
Hope this helps.

One day last week I was place shifting. Everything was working fine. At some point the remote dissapeared and I haven't been able to get it back since. Keyboard commands don't work either.
U21, a TS1117 3.3V voltage regulator, has probably failed in your Slingbox. If you had done a Forum search for "no manufacturers" you would have seen lots of postings about this problem. It's a known design fault and you should be able to get a new box.
