Thanks for using our Answers Forum. I understand that your having trouble watching your Slingbox on your new Galaxy phone. You will need to contact
Verizon and get them to help you with this issue. The Slingbox is working correctly, so you just need to find out how to shut off the auto turn off on your phone.

Here's a work-around.
Purchase an app from the Google Play Store called "Tasker." (It's about $6.00). Set it up so that when the Slingplayer app is active, the screen time-out is set to some high number (I have mine set at 5 hours, but it can go to 23 hours). That will keep the display on while Slingplayer is running. When Slingplayer is closed, the phone reverts back to the default setting (I have mine at 2 minutes).
