    Upload Bandwidth

I had a quick question about bandwidth usage.

When I am abroad, I typically get speeds of 500kbps, limited by my upload speed at my home address where the slingbox is setup.

When I am at home streaming over LAN or wireless using the slingplayer desktop software, I'm getting speeds of 4000kbps. Clearly, streaming at 4000kbps would use up quite a bit of bandwidth (my provider has very low caps). Since I am using my slingbox over a local network, does that mean that I am not using my upload bandwidth limits up?

Thanks in advance for any answers!
