I do apologize that you are experiencing issues when streaming with your Slingbox. I'll definitely try my best to assist you. It looks like you are able to stream as you are able to hear audio and see some things, like the channel number and time. You are also having issues with controlling your set top box remotely.
You can fix most virtual remote issues by re-configuring your Slingbox. You do not need to be at home in order to do this. You can re-configure by following the instructions in the first link below.
When connecting to the Slingbox on any device, you will see exactly what you see on your TV at home. If you change the channel to BBC2 on your home TV, you may see the channel information and time displayed at the bottom. The time and channel information you see when you connect to your Slingbox is not being displayed by your M1, it is being displayed by your set top box. When streaming online or through the Slingplayer app, Slingbox does provide your guide information separately in a grid.
The blue screen you see could be due to a few reasons. Since you are not at the location of the Slingbox, it is possible your set top box is not functioning as it should. You would only be able to confirm this if the TV is also getting a blue screen. For other reasons as to why you are not seeing picture, check out the links below.
