I have the same problem using a Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 Plus running ICS. I am a new user of a Solo.
Everything works perfectly until I try to use the high quality setting. I get about a second of video and sound and then the optimization wheels spins endlessly. The HQ mode has not worked at all. Not even once.
I've completed each and every suggestion to clear the machine of running apps, rebooted, etc., all to no avail.
Also, I've tried to use the Android Phone player in a Samsung Galaxy SII running ICS. The license fails each time. I've installed the Tablet app and it works fine, even in High Quality mode.
