I have a Slingbox Pro-HD (Firmware Version 2.1.350,Hardware Version 2.53.0). The box is located in Hungary.
There is a standard, basic, analog cable connected to the Ant In and there is a TV connected to the Ant out. There is also a DVD player connected to the composit connectors. I have good video and audio on the TV and also from the DVD player (using the slingPlayers).
My problem is that I have only video from the cable source, no audio at all. I tried 3 players with the same result (desktop v2.0.191, browser , iPhone).
I have resetted the box several times. I tried tho change tha audio settings (mono, left, right , stereo) same result.
There is one more glitch that might be related; the scanning for the channels from the desktop software results the following error message:
Sorry. We ran into an error while scanning for channels. Please try again.
(The scan takes about an hour, so it may be a timout error).
What should I do? Should I try an earlier firmware? If yes which one? Or is my box faulty?
