DLNA Support for Slingbox / Connect to TV

    tzahico

      Hi there!

I am using Slingbox Player on my laptop and so far so good....
Just bought a TV last week together with a media streamer (LG DP1W), and was wondering how can I broadcast Slingbox to the TV?

The only way I've found so far is by following Serviio DLNA server's Desktop-to-TV guide ( http://wiki.serviio.org/doku.php?id=stream_pc ) but
unfortunately my laptop is not strong enought to smoothly play Slingbox, compress it to MPEG, and stream it over the network. It works however

Any help would be highly appreciated!

      Best regards

      Isaac Cohen

          Hi tzahico,

I understand that you want to know how to stream the Slingbox signal on your TV set.

The Slingbox was not designed to accomplish this specific task. However, you can take advantage of the SlingPlayer for Connected Devices. With this in mind, I encourage you to check the following link and check all the available options that will allow you to send the Slingbox signal to a TV set:

          Hope this helps!

          Regards.
