Hi. I recently replaced my slingbox PRO-HD after it suffered from a complete power failure. After connecting my replacement unit it seems that my OLD unit is still in memory because when I attempt to connect remotely via PC or the iPhone app I get errors that the sling box is not connected. When I go to slingbox setup on the PC or go to the directory option on the iPhone app I see 2 slingboxes listed. One of them works and allows me to watch TV. The other doesnt. It appears that when I try to connect to my slingbox now it is defaulting to the OLD box. How do I get rid of the old box in from the directory?
I noticed that you need to remove the older Slingbox from your Sling Account since the SlingPlayer for iPhone attempts to connect to it. You will need to log in to your Sling Account and then click the 'Remove' button next to that Slingbox. That should do it.
