    Slingbox and WiFi

      I have IPad 2 and it is WiFi only.  Will it connect to my slingbox account?

      I have no trouble connecting with my Droid X but have paid internet service with it?

      Do not understand why my IPad will not connect.  Says to connect to Computer.

      Thanks for any help you can give me.

          Hi ACC1469886,

           

          What I'm getting from your post, is that you can't get the SlingPlayer app to work.

           

          In this case and as a first step, you can uninstall the application and download it again.

           

          Besides that,  make sure that the Slingbox Internet Viewing is properly (and manually) configured.

           

          Also, try from a different WiFi network to discard the current one as a potential issue.

           

          One more thing, will be to make sure your network meet the minimum requirements for the application to work.
