1920x540 max resolution on Slingbox PRO-HD? No 1080P?

It seems that the max resolution the Slingbox PRO-HD can transmit is 1920x540. I got the 1920x540 from the Windows SlingPlayer 2.0 desktop software where its the max resolution setting. If this is correct then the Slingbox PRO-HD is only 720P at 1280x720 and does effectivly not support 1080P which needs 1920x1080. Does the Slingbox PRO-HD just does not do 1080P? Does anyone know in the specs where is says if it does or does not support 1080P? Also what is this strange non standard 1920x540 resolution about

          Hi Radix,

We understand that you have troubles streaming in HD with your Slingbox. Unfortunately the SlingPlayer 2.0 is not supported since the latest updates are created for Watch at slingbox.com. Do you have any troubles when you use this player? Have a look at this link, it might help getting the best resolution when you connect to the Slingbox,

Thank you for your response however according to the documentation at the link you sent me the watch at slingbox.com resolution is the same as the Windows desktop SlingPlayer 2.0 and that is 1920X544 but the real resolution of 1080i/p is 1920x1080. My question is can the Slingbox PRO-HD transmit full 1080p (1920x1080) with any software? I see the note on that link says "30 fps and 1/2 1080i resolution that get's doubled to a 1080i resolution" which I assume means that the PRO-HD cannot transmit full 1080 and that the software upscales the image after it gets to the destination, is this correct?

                  The Pro-HD definitely can't stream 1080p.

However my understanding is that the highest resolution it is capable of which is 1920 x 544 is equivalent to 1080i though.

I'm not sure if it's just a straight 1920 x 540 upscaled to 1920 x 1080 for each frame or whether it is actually proper 1080i interlaced ie alternate frames filling in a different 540 rows.
