At least there is communication about an issue. It's not very specific, but at least there's hope for a fix!

It seems that you are having some issues with your Slingbox SOLO since the connection drops all of a sudden after a short period of time.
Most of the times, this issue is related to some settings to adjust on your local network. With this in mind, I recommend you to check this link and follow the recommendations.
This is not the solution, I have tried all of the suggestions there but I am certain there is a hardware issue with the unit. I have even tried with a laptop and the slingbox all plugged into a single switch and still the same problem exists.
The only thing I have seen is that it may be a failed capacitor in which case it will need to be repaired but my question is by who and where ?
