I have been experiencing the same problem. Viewing would get choppy, sluggish then drop the connection. My Sister-In-Law came for a visit with a new Macbook Pro (mine is 2008 running updated version of Snow Leopard) and just for kicks I decided to load the software and connect on her machine. Her machine worked without a hiccup for 90 minutes. I am using Linksys E2000 Router with DD-WRT flashed firmware to stream wirelessly to the Macbook. The Slingbox Pro is connected to the router via ethernet cable.
I decided to assign a static IP address on my router for my Macbook (192.168.1.140) and my slingbox streaming has been working soooooooo much better. Not perfect, but much better. Please reply to this post if this works for you.
FYI my paid phone call to Sling Support was a waste of $$$.
