I bought one of the original Slingboxs. I was a beta tester for the SlingMobile when it came out. I had a PPC-6700 with Sprint and remember testing a few beta releases that you sent. It was fun being part of that. Well, now I have a Slingbox HD and just today(well yesterday now) got a Sprint Evo. I live in Atlanta and have 4G signal most everywhere I am. If you need another beta to test the Android Platform, let me know.
I hope this might help a little more than the standard reply you received..I've been actively pursuing answers to your question since Nov 2008.

Thanks for contacting Sling.
As we said at the Gdgt event at SXSW in Austin recently, we’re actively working on SlingPlayer Mobile for Android. Videos of SPM for Android in action were posted on many of the gadget blogs. SPM for Android is looking great and we hope to release it soon.
If you go to www.slingbox.com you can sign up for an email notification when SPM for Android is released.
We are also working with Adobe Flash and we’ll implement Flash when and where we think it makes sense from a technology and time-to-market perspective.

SlingPlayer Mobile for Android ready to entertain you for $30 starting tomorrowBy Chris Ziegler posted Jun 21st 2010 8:07PM
After a public beta spanning a couple months, Sling is rolling out the latest piece of its expanding SlingPlayer Mobile portfolio this week -- this time for Android, plugging the biggest coverage gap it currently has. This is the same app we recently had an opportunity to check out, but since that preview, we're happy to report that it's been massaged into a more stable, more usable setup -- gone are the disconnect crashes we'd had before. Furthermore, Sling claims they've specifically worked to improve load and response times with this version, and we have to say that the effort is noticeable -- this definitely feels like the fastest SlingPlayer Mobile we've used to date. It's officially available starting tomorrow from the Market in Australia, Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, the UK, and the US for $29.99. Follow the break for the full press release.
