I have recently acquired the Slingbox Solo and iPad app. The Slingbox works perfectly using either the desktop viewer or slingbox.com.
The issue is with the iPad app. It will launch and recognise the account fine. However, when I select 'Watch' it requires a firmware update (2.1.103) for the Solo. Using Slingbox.com, it will recognise the Solo on the network but then 'hangs' while 'Initializing'. I know this has happened to other users but have been unable to find a solution.
PS The Solo is connected via a wired router to a Mac Mini server runing the latest Leopard O/S.
