RafaelB: Have you not been monitoring the forum ?? This happened during the recent remote database update when for some reason your engineering team replaced all the 'skins' for the Tivo. My Series 2 Tivo is perfectly fine, it seems as though it is just the Series 3 remote where they have accidentally reversed the left/right buttons. There have been a number of postings about this, going back about 3 weeks:

Count me in.
Can't get the iphone version or the firefox or safari remote versions to work either.
Was working fine a week ago and then updated my iphone version of the app.
Not sure when the firefox or safari ones went wonky though.
Can log in but neither versions of slingbox will allow me to change channels or to select the Tivo button.
Different problem. Sling have tacitly admitted they have screwed up the Tivo Series 4 remote by reversing the L/R arrow buttons, but that is all. Yours is not the that problem. Check out this thread: https://community.sling.com/thread/3300?tstart=0
Come back if it doesn't help.
Thanks. I will check it out. Appreciate you helping.
Edited to add: Alas on the phone with my source location and my series 4 has suddenly stopped working with the Slingbox remote but everything at the source is fine (IR/remote works/etc).
I have changed nothing on here only, it seemed, managed to get the overair firmware set-up which has now made my Slingbox useless.
Everything on the means I used to watch suddenly doesn't work. But I still really appreciate you taking the time to lend a hand.
Traveling for work. Have no way to get home to correct or re-set up.
All of sudden my remote viewing TIVO remote (that was working fine for the last 6 months)
on my Slingbox Solo to my Tivo Premiere box has stopped doing anything.
Can't make ANY of the buttons work. Is there any other way to correct this issue from the road?
Doesn't work on my ipad/iphone/ or my Mac with 10.6.8
Is this a common issue from users as of late?
The update didn't help at all.
The family at home is reporting that the IR is working fine so it's tied to how my remote 'remotes' are interacting.
Sadly they just don't have a compatiable computer in the house to complete a new set up to my account.
Any help would be great
Hey ACC177788 - the only thing I could suggest (short of having a family member run through Setup on Slingbox.com - you said they have no computer at the Slingbox location?) would be to have someone at the Slingbox location reboot the Slingbox by pressing and releasing the Slingbox reset button quickly (not holding it down).
Beyond that, try this article and video fro help when you get back home:
Hope that helps!
Tried to have them re-do set-up for Slingbox again.
They have a computer but they are macs and they are being told the mac's aren't new enough to use the Slingbox for mac program to do it with.
If they reset will it make the "remote" remote control' work again?
If they reset it will I still be able to get in or is it setting it back to factory and still I am locked out from remote viewing?
Just frustrated because it was working fine for months and then overnight it just stopped working.
Thanks for offering help.
Just running once through the setup process on Slingbox.com should do the trick. By doing that, you won't lose any of your previous settings - it just restarts the Slingbox.
If they perform a hard reset (as outlined in the video), it will return your Slingbox to it's factory settings, at which point you'll need to run the setup anyway - giving your box a new password, etc.
Hope that points you in the right direction - it is frustrating when you have these kinds of issues away from home.
I agree. Normally in these circumstances the culprits are the IR Blasters, moved or sometimes failed. When you say your family have checked them, what have they done ? The only certain method is to watch them through the viewfinder of a camera/phone and make sure there is a healthy white flash when you tap on a button on the virtual remote.
Otherwise the suggestion to re-run the Video Input setup routine is good, to refresh the remote setting sin the Slingbox. And you can do that wherever you are, you don't need to reset the Slingbox.
