    I am new user and my computer(desktop) says cannot find Slingbox


      I am a new user of the Slingbox Pro. I have tried to set up the slingbox at home and have connected everything and can see both lights on the sling box. I've downloaded the software on my computer and am getting this message "Couldn't find your slingbox on the network. Make sure you're on the same network as your slingbox." Looking through trouble shooting guide it says something about security and what not, but I am not a person well versed in looking to how to allow sling box to be allowed to access my network (if this the problem)  Any specific instructions about security would help or some other help to get this setup as right now I have no clue how to get this to work.  I bought off ebay so I can not contact support unless I sign up for the extended plan.
