    Why am I getting "no video signal"?  All connections are okay.

      Why am I getting "no video signal"?  All connections are correct, I am getting the correct screen, but no picture or sound.

          If you have a cable box connected to your Slingbox, it could be that that the coax cable connector to the cable box is loose.   I had this problem a week ago on both my Slingbox and when direct viewing the TV connected to the Slingbox.   The cable TV service provider technician suggested over the telephone that I check my coax connections at all locations to insure fully finger tight.   One connecter was a bare fraction loose -- but once I turned it with my fingers about 1/16th of a revolution, every thing worked fine again.   Who would think the signals would be so sensitive to "absolute tightness"?   But it worked for me.
