    No network light, IPv6 only?

Pulled my Slingbox Solo out of the box after not using it for a while.  Have reset it several times, but haven't been able to get it to show up on the network at all.  The network light will blink for a little while and then go out.  It never shows up in the DHCP table of the router.

Now, here is something that makes it interesting: I monitored the slingbox's network traffic as it starts up using Wireshark.  It isn't sending an IPv4 DHCP discover request.  It will only look for an IPv6 router, and then gives up. EDIT: The IPv6 solitication might be coming from the computer's ethernet interface.  I shut down IPv6 and I no longer see the router solitication.  However, I'm still not seeing DHCP requests originating from the slingbox.

All of the "here's how to fix it" instructions assume that the device is going to request and will get a DHCP supplied IPv4 address.  Most assume it can connect to the internet.  That isn't happening.  Is there some other way to flash the firmware, or some other process available to repair this?

      For the record, this

"The Network Light On Your Slingbox Is Off" (http://support.slingbox.com/get/KB-5000057.html) doesn't help.  Neither does http://support.slingbox.com/get/KB-005589.html.
