My SlingBox Pro (SB200-XXX) is in need of a replacement power supply (network light issues...) and Sling is out of stock. I'm going away for a long time in two days and I would like to be able to connect to it and watch some TV. On the back it states the unit accepts "6VDC @ 3.5A MAX" - all I can find in stores is 6V @ 1.5A - will this work or cause any problems? Finding a power supply in a retail store that is 3.5A is proving difficult and I'm trying to weigh my other options.
The power supply could not have gone bad at a worse time. I don't have time to order a supply off the internet.
What I understand from your post, is that you're having problems with the Slingbox AC Adapter.
In this case, you can contact the Sling Media Technical Support Department so they can provide the replacement options for that item.
