If you are still having issues setting up the Internet Viewing on your Slingbox, you can try to enable it manually using another port, such as 5002 or 443. Also verify if you only have one router on your network, because if you have multiple routers you will need to configure all of them to be able to watch it away from home.

I'm having an identical issue to yours. I just had the cable company replace all of my cable boxes with new Arris receivers. I can't tell if my connection problem is with the existing router (Lynksis) or the new receiver or both. In any event, I can watch from home on my laptop (when connected thru WiFi) but not with my laptop at my office.
Did any of Sling suppport suggestions prove helpful? Because the ones I've been given lead to blank pages and dead ends!
