Seeing the exact same thing trying to setup my new Slingbox Pro HD that I just received today. Running Win7 Pro with all current updates, IE version 9.0.8112.16421. I've tried it on two different computers. Even tried downloading the installer and running it without IE running at the same time. Still watch.slingbox.com keeps asksing me to install the control first.
Looking at the list of "All add-ons" in IE, I don't see any Sling or Sling Media addons appearing.
Hi ACC2159397, if you have issues installing the Slingplayer in your web browser go ahead and follow the instructions in the link below to install it, make sure that there are no pop up blockers hat may prevent the Slingplayer to run after the installation.

I can't get to the sling box page from my Windows 7 64 bit computer and IE9 any more. I had to install Chrome v.21 to even get to the support site.
On IE9 when I go to slingbox.com and select Watch I get taken to http://www.slingbox.com/get/countrySelect?next=http://watch.slingbox.comhttp://www.slingbox.com/get/countrySelect?next=http://watch.slingbox.com
and can't get anywhere from there - clicking United States
I hate to use Chrome because it is buggy and keeps needing to update.
Besides IE9 is supposed to be supported according to the suport site.
