For this issues with the picture, we recommend first to test a different Video cable to determine if the issue persists. If you still have the same trouble, you can try to Reset the Slingbox to factory settings and then run the Setup at slingbox.com.
Give it a try and let us know how that works
I'm having the same problem. I tried:
- Switching from coax to S-Video and then red-yellow-white
- Resetting the slingbox and going through setup again
I'm exactly where I started. Any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
Edit: I also confirmed I'm using the most up-to-date version of sling player. For what it's worth I've been using AT&T U-Verse for quite some time and the slingbox was working perfectly a month or two ago.
I just had Direct TV hooked up to replace Cox Cable. My Slingbox Pro has always worked fine with Cox Cable, but now suddenly with Direct TV and the exact same component Video hook up I am seeing a scrambled green screen.
Turns out the Direct TV box was setup to output 480 line resolution instead of 1080. Select the Format button on the remote to access the screen output resolution and turn off all but 1080p or 1080i depending on what your TV supports. That fixed the the green scrambled screen.
