    Slingbox Connection to Router

      2011.05.19 SLINGBOX ISSUES:

       

      SLINGBOX ISSUES: Cannot view locally or remotely. Cannot view from the web. No audio/video working on laptop.

      Passthrough connections work and audio/video working on TV. Have never seen audio/video during or after completion of setup assistant.

       

      LAN CONNECTION:

      Both power light and network lights on slingbox are lit.

      Able to control remote and change channels via laptop (IR Blasters working).

       

      ROUTER PORT FORWARDING: Corresponding UDP and TCP 5001 ports have been forwarded to my slingbox's private IP address through DLINK DVA G3810BN router.

      PORT CHECKER: http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Dlink/DVA-G3810BN-TL/

      WINDOWS XP PORT FORWARDING: Corresponding UDP and TCP 5001 ports have been forwarded to my slingbox's privated IP address through windows firewall.

       

      AVG 8.0: Turned off.

       

      ERROR MESSAGE 1: There was a problem communicating with the Slingbox. Try connecting again.

      ERROR MESSAGE 2: The slingbox administrator password that you typed in incorrect. Please re-enter it.
