    Trouble installing Slingplayer Desktop Software

    robyno

I've been trying to install the Slingplayer Desktop software but it gets hung up on "Copying firmware files" every time. At that point I am able to launch Slingplayer and it will work, but if I shut down or restart my computer I am no longer able to launch Slingplayer because the executable file disappears (due to the incomplete installation I assume). I do not have a Slingbox, I am using this to connect remotely to my company's Slingboxes which I need to do for work. I'm using a laptop running Windows 7 32-bit. What do I need to do in order to get past the "Copying firmware files" portion of the installation? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling a dozen times and the result is always the same.
