Just great, now the app won't work over 3G at all. I've tried reinstalling it from iTunes but it still tells me it can't connect to my slingbox. I have also unplugged and plugged my Slingbox back in so it would reset, but that didn't change anything.
Sling Media made me pay $30 for this app and when I call for support they want to charge me more money!
Now when I use it at my home it works over 3G initially again, but then freezes up. I tried it at a friends house over 3G and couldn't even connect.
Hey Sling Media are you people listening? I paid a lot of money for this app and it's not working as advertised. I complained to Apple but they told me to contact you. When I call you, I am told I will have to pay for customer support. Unbelievable!
If you are still experiencing issues connecting to your Slingbox using 3G, we recommend you to enable the Internet Viewing manually from the Slingbox location. If the issue persists, you can try adding the Slingbox with a Direct Connection and test it that way.
