I just called the Slingbox technical support and told them that the Slingbox Pro AC adaptor is making a hissing noise and is getting very warm.
They told me if I wanted to replace the AC they would need to charge me 19.99
I told them that if I wait and this causes a fire, will they then issue a recall for the product, they said yes.
Then I asked, wouldn't you want to prevent the problem instead of waiting for the problem to occur, and their reponse was let's wait for a fire!
